The restaurant will be located in 25 Jump Street, Dubai’s first licensed street.

Dubai is home to cuisines from around the world, from big brands to homegrown concepts. Now, it is set to welcome the Japanese restaurant, Yubi Handroll Bar. Seven Management has collaborated with acclaimed chef Reif Othman for the restaurant, which will be located on 25 Jump Street.

Yubi Handroll Bar aims to create Japanese cuisine in a simple yet versatile form. The team will draw inspiration from timeless traditions which have made their way to the present day. The restaurant aims to bring people together, and combine comfort with excitement.

Yubi specialises in serving hand rolls, a type of sushi made by wrapping seaweed around rice and fillings. As the name suggests, these sushi creations are meant to be eaten by hand. Plus, given its location, we can expect a carefully selected sake collection.

The space expertly balances light, texture, and form to create an immersive, sensory-driven ambiance. Elevating the aesthetic, Lebanese designer Mira Mikati introduces a contemporary edge with bespoke uniforms and signature design elements that merge fashion, function, and playfulness.

25 Jump Street has hit the headlines for being Dubai’s first licensed street. Located behind 25hours Hotel One Central in the city’s Central Business District, it marks a groundbreaking move that will redefine the city’s nightlife and dining scene. The area aims to be an all-year-round destination with events and will include 12 curated concepts, which range from casual to high-end restaurants. Plus, the layout will allow guests to move seamlessly between the venues.
