The new restaurant will boast Burj Al Arab views a nightclub within called LITT.

Dubai is home to world-class restaurants, from homegrown concepts to international names. Now, it is set to welcome Kira Dubai at Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab. Opening on 14 March 2025, here’s what we know about the concept.

Kira Dubai at Marsa Al Arab is unusual in its offering, as it is a celebration of Japanese and Mediterranean cuisine and features a nightclub called LITT. While the full menu has not yet been unveiled, we know that it combines the flavours as well as the cooking techniques from the two countries. The name KIRA means “light” in Japanese, paying homage to the culinary artistry and effortless elegance of the venue, while LITT, inspired by the mystique of moonlight, radiates the glamour of night.

Kira’s interiors, designed by Verhaal Studios, exude effortless elegance with inspiring aesthetics and undeniable charm right from the entrance. The space flows seamlessly into a stunning main dining room, revealing a spacious bar, a lively lounge, and an expansive outdoor terrace. Boasting views of Burj Al Arab, guests can expect floor-to-ceiling windows that look out onto the sea and sand، Inspired by the artistic mastery of the Mediterranean and Japan, intricately woven Japanese tapestries and Italian mosaics blend harmoniously, while gold accents—evoking kintsugi—celebrate the beauty of imperfection.

KIRA’s culinary philosophy is a perfect dance between land and sea. At the heart of the experience, the open kitchen draws guests into the artistry of cooking, where the robata open-fire grill and tandoor oven infuse dishes with subtle smoky notes. A fresh fish counter, elegantly displayed on a bed of ice, showcases the day’s finest catch. With a communal Izakaya-style menu, hand-crafted pasta dishes seamlessly blend Mediterranean ingredients with the understated elegance of Japanese flavors.

As the night deepens, LITT Bar Club awakens. Tucked within KIRA yet boasting its own exclusive entrance, LITT is inspired by the ethereal glow of moonlight. Its design features forest-inspired patterns, a striking bar, and expertly crafted cocktails. With glitzy interiors and a DJ taking over the booth, you can expect the party vibes to hit an all-time high at this venue.

“Following the success of CLAP, we are proud to introduce KIRA Restaurant and LITT Bar Club at Dubai’s newest high-end lifestyle destination, Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab. Matching their iconic location, the concepts promise the same level of excellence, innovation, and luxury as their sister venue, CLAP. This opening marks an important milestone as we launch the first venture developed under our new lifestyle vertical, AlphaMind.”  Tony Habre, Director of AlphaMind.
