Party animals, we’ve got the news for you. Dubai’s famous electronic music festival, Groove On The Grass, is making a triumphant return with its twelfth edition in Dubai. Taking place at Emirates Golf Club on Saturday, 19 October, this fantastic festival has become synonymous with electronic music culture in Dubai, and it's not slowing down.
Year after year, Groove On The Grass has united audiences, proving that music truly knows no boundaries. And this year it’s back with a lineup that’s going to make you dance your heart out.
Groove On The Grass's line-up includes ASH, who is known for delivering a high-energy mix of house, techno, and live instrumentation, and Viken Arman, who fuses organic and electronic elements while blending deep grooves with world music influences.
Other acts on the night include Rhadoo, a key figure in the Romanian minimal techno scene, revered for his deep, hypnotic sets, and Margaret Dygas, a resident of Berlin’s Panorama Bar known for her profound and introspective sound. Other performers on the night include Deian, Honeytrap, Iman Rohani, Jamiie B2B Fiona Kraft, Maks, Morgan Dope and Nasrawi.
Groove on the Grass has been running for more than a decade and has been influential to the Middle East’s music scene, having introduced more than 180 artists to the region. Plus, it has been key in the development of dance music in the region. The open-air event is a wonderful way to enjoy live music and make the most of the cooler weather, alongside fantastic food stalls.
