Returning for a third time, this event will see Grammy-nominated stars take the stage.
Dubai has hosted its fair share of global superstars, such as Ed Sheeran and Robbie Williams, in recent months. And with a thriving jazz community, the city has many avid fans. To turn up their excitement, Dubai is once again bringing back Jazz Avenue, promising a great lineup of musical talents.
Taking place from 31 January to 22 February at DIFC’s Gate Avenue, Jazz Avenue will feature plenty of performances by Grammy-nominated artists. Each weekend will see a blend of international talent. For the first weekend, happening from 31 January to 1 February, you can enjoy a powerful start to the show by Afro-Cuban, Grammy-nominated jazz sensation Dayme Arocena.
The weekend of 7 and 8 February will see Brazilian singer Vanessa Moreno followed by Emma Smith, a British jazz artist who was also a finalist for the famous Montreux Jazz Festival. The third weekend will feature Omar Lye-Fook as he wows the audience with his hit track, There’s Nothing Like This and much more.
For the final weekend of Jazz Avenue, taking place on 21 and 22 February, Grammy-nominated artist Jazzmeia Horn will be closing the festival. Apart from jazz music, you can indulge in light bites from DIFC restaurants, such as Love Vibe and Lulu & The Beanstalk.
Set against the backdrop of DIFC, Jazz Avenue — marking its third edition — is brought to you by Jass Lounge, bringing together world-class talent and music lovers under one roof. So, whether you’re a jazz lover or just someone who enjoys good music, this event promises an unparalleled experience.
