Abu Dhabi is home to world-class restaurants, from MICHELIN marvels to homegrown concepts. Now, it is set to welcome the Lebanese restaurant Amara to Yas Island. Located in The WB™ Abu Dhabi, Curio Collection by Hilton, the new restaurant is scheduled to open soon.
The menu at Amara Yas Island menu puts Lebanese food in the spotlight, and is superb for sharing. The menu spans hot and cold mezze, salads, mains and pastries. Cold mezze includes Batata Zahlewiyeh with potatoes, grated bottarga and garlic confit; Seabass Samkeh Harra with seabass and salsa; and Lebanese Southern Frakeh. Hot mezze includes Squid and Fig Birds with pomegranate; Jawaneh Provencale with chicken wings; and Prawns Ithmaliyeh served with honey pomegranate.
The mains feature Levantine classics. Dishes include Lamb Chops served with walnut tomato spread; Mixed Grills with chicken and lamb; and Shawarma Skewers with pickles and dips. Pastries span the Middle East to Europe. Dishes range from Chocolate Fondant to Mille-feuille, and Baklava Cheesecake to Kunafa with Cheese. Plus, there are a range of mocktails, which include Blackberry Cinnamon Smash, Mango Peach Ice Tea and Smoked Pineapple Lemonade.
Bathed in natural light, Amara Yas Island features marble tabletops and leather seating. It joins a range of family-friendly cafés and restaurants at The WB™ Abu Dhabi, Curio Collection by Hilton, many of which draw inspiration from Warner Bros.’ characters. Venues include the FACT award-winning steakhouse, The Director’s Club, and the all-day-dining restaurant Sidekicks.
