Abu Dhabi’s event calendar has plenty going on this year, and things aren’t slowing down anytime soon. One music festival you definitely don’t want to miss is Club Social, which brings some of the biggest names in hip-hop, R&B, and rock to the capital.
Club Social will be taking place at Etihad Park in Yas Island, from 18 to 20 April and you’ll want to be there from the very start. Kicking off the first day of the festival on Friday, 18 April are Snow Patrol and The Kooks, setting the perfect tone for an epic weekend of live music.
Snow Patrol
Hailing from Northern Ireland and Scotland, Snow Patrol is an alternative rock band delivering some gut-wrenching tunes since the late 90s. Their breakthrough album, Final Straw put them on the map, but it was Run that skyrocketed them to global fame. With songs like Chasing Cars, Just Say Yes and Open Your Eyes, several BRIT Award nominations and a Grammy nod, they’re a band to be reckoned with. Expect a mix of nostalgia and classic hits when they take the stage at Club Social in Abu Dhabi.
The Kooks
Coming in strong from Brighton, England, The Kooks exploded into the music scene with their debut album Inside In/Inside Out. With hits like Naive, She Moves in Her Own Way and See The Sun, they quickly became one of the most-loved British bands of the early 2000s. They’ve also received several award nominations, such as BRIT Awards and MTV Europe Music Awards, amongst many others. Their performance at Club Social is bound to be one you’ll be singing along to.
Tickets to Club Social are live, so grab them while you can. For the first day of the event to watch Snow Patrol and The Kooks, pricing starts at AED 295 and goes up to AED 595 for the ultimate fan experience.
