The spectacular site will open next year in a date palm farm.

Being green doesn’t have to mean scrimping on luxury. ENVI Lodges is aiming to prove the point with its debut resort in Saudi Arabia. The luxury eco-lodge ENVI Al Nakheel will be located in the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Al Ahsa Oasis. Scheduled to open next year, here’s what to expect from the gorgeous glamping spot.

ENVI Lodges, the GCC-based luxury eco-lodge companyspecialises in low-impact alternative accommodation. The goal is to create responsibly constructed properties, and immerse visitors in nature. ENVI Al Nakheel will be located in a traditional date palm farm in Al Ahsa Oasis with 25 eco-lodging pods with one and two bedrooms.

Thai-based Fractal Architects is behind the designs, which blend in with the colours and textures of the farm and the surrounding landscape. Plus, Kristina Zanic Consultants will create interiors inspired by local nature, from date palm trees to traditional mudbrick architecture.
