The fine dining restaurant will be located in King Abdullah Financial District.

Saudi Arabia is welcoming fine dining restaurants from across the world. London’s Bardo is the next restaurant to make its way to Riyadh. The fine dining Italian concept will be located in King Abdullah Financial District, and shared a sneak peek in the new venue.

Bardo in Riyadh is being created by Bluehaus Group. The team shared renders of the new restaurant, which looks set to be a sophisticated spot. The décor oozes Art Deco glamour, thanks to the chandeliers, red-hot chairs and sofas, and white tablecloths.

Bluehaus Group stated: “A sneak peek! Bardo St. James of London is coming to KAFD, Riyadh. Our team are super excited about the delivery of this project in KAFD. Currently mobilising on site, the highly anticipated fine-dining Bardo St. James of London.”

If Bardo in London is anything to by, the Riyadh restaurant will be home to live music, welcoming service and traditional Italian dishes. The concept was created by entrepreneur, Luca Maggiora, who is also behind LUXX and Toy Room. The team pride themselves on using authentic produce sourced from Italy and the United Kingdom, which captures the spirit of Italy.

We’re hoping that Bardo in Riyadh’s menu reflects the London locale. The original menu includes salads, antipasti and primi. The dishes include Black Truffle Tagliolini, Lobster Tagliatelle, Oven Roasted Lion of Lamb, and Roasted Sea Bass. Plus, the desserts include Cheesecake, Gelato and Tiramisu.

Bardo’s expansion to Riyadh was facilitated by Seeds Consulting. Matteo Frigeri, co-founder and director of Seeds Consulting, explained: “Our portfolio continues to develop and we are excited to be behind the growth in the brands that we represent, which range from quick service restaurants and coffee shops to high-end dining. Congratulations to Bardo on their expansion into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; we are sure that this is only the beginning of their overseas ventures.”
