Saudi Arabia knows how to party. Yellow Plus, a dance music event, is coming to Al Amaria Hills in Riyadh. Running from 3 to 4 August, it brings together international and local electronic dance acts. So, if you want to join the fun, here’s what you need to know.
Yellow Plus’ headliners include 8Kays and Øostil. The line-up also includes Darkodelix, DishDash, Jeme, Melon, Narkbeat, RDJ and Virgo.
Ukrainian Iryna Shvydka is behind the act 8Kays. The sound producer and DJ is best known for her experimental sounds. Her hit songs include Easy, Jado, Respect Me and Sun Will Come Out. Øostil’s debut performance took place in 2018, and since then he has performed across the world. His signature sounds bring together melodic techno and deep emotions.
Dish Dash are one of the Middle East’s most famous dance duos. The homegrown act hail from Saudi Arabia and is the brainchild of brothers Hassan and Abbas Ghazzawi. The pair are famous for their techno beats and have performed around the world including Abu Dhabi, Bahrain and London.
YellowEnt is behind Yellow Plus, and it prides itself on being music lovers. The event will be a feast for the eyes and eats. The event boasts state-of-the-art visuals including innovative stage designs, lighting techniques and sound technology.
