Just when we thought we couldn’t get any more excited about Gamers8, it has announced cool concerts. The line-up now includes Alan Walker, Metro Boomin, R3hb and Vinyl Mode. So, if you love games, here’s what you need to know about the world’s biggest esports festival.
Gamers8 is taking place in Riyadh and is welcoming international as well as local acts. Taking place at Boulevard Riyadh City from 6 July to 31 August, there will be a range of artists performing during the event. Alan Walker and Vinyl Mode will perform on 7 July, R3hb will perform on 14 July and Metro Boomin will perform on 21 July.
Alan Walker hails from Bergen, Norway. He is a producer and DJ, and best known for his songs Faded, Force and Sing Me To Sleep. On YouTube, he has more than 43.7 million subscribers and 12.9 billion views, and is one of the most viewed content creators in Norway.
Metro Boomin is from Missouri, United States. He is a producer and DJ, and mixes trap with hip-hop. He has collaborated with 21 Savage, Drake, Kanye West, The Weeknd and Travis Scott. He is famous for working on songs including Bad and Boujee, Congratulations and Tunnel Vision.
R3hb is a Dutch Moroccan producer and DJ. He is known for his signature sound, which mixes electro, dance and house. His hit songs include All Around the World, Rock My Body and Waterfall.
Vinyl Mode – real name Mohanned Nassar – was born in Saudi Arabia, and started his career in Jeddah’s underground dance scene. The DJ has entertained crowds across the world, from Greece to Germany, with his deep house and techno music. The DJ has a big following in the Middle East, and has also performed at MDLBeast Soundstorm.
