Jeddah, there’s a new lifestyle destination coming to the city. The Grid will be located on Al Batarji Street and brings together shops, cafés, restaurants, leisure centres, entertainment and a state-of-the-art fitness centre. The hip hotspot is currently under development, and here is what to expect.
The Grid will span two levels and also include concept stores, coffee shops and office space. The project will also be home to outdoor terraces, which cover a whopping 10,000 square metres. The space will include open-air spaces and al fresco dining experiences, which make the most of the winter nights.
The Grid is being created by AIMS Real Estate, which is one of the leading developers in Saudi ARABIA. The project aims to create a buzzing community, and it will be conveniently located. The site is 19 minutes from the airport, 10 minutes from Jeddah Corniche, two minutes from King’s Road and one minute from Saudi German Hospital.
The Grid boasts a modern aesthetic with ample car parking, floor-to-ceiling windows and tree-lined streets. Plus, plenty of communal outdoor space for visitors to sit and enjoy the atmosphere, even if they are not dining in restaurants or cafés.
Jeddah is home to plenty of new developments. Recently, the city welcomed Jeddah Yacht Club, which includes world-class restaurants and cafés. The area has become a dining destination, as it is now home to EL&N Café, Emmy Squared, Le Comptoir de Nicole, Le Vésuvio and Mashi No Mashi.
