Join swap shops, pop-up shops and workshops this November.

It’s time to put your most fashionable foot forward, as Saudi Arabia has announced the return of the conference Fashion Futures. Taking place in Riyadh’s City Hub in Prime Mohammed bin Salman Nonprofit City, it will run from 17 to 19 November.

Hosted by Saudi Fashion Commission, Fashion Futures provides a platform for Saudi designers and brands to showcase their products. During the conference, it’s an opportunity for leading figures to discuss key issues in the fashion industry including sustainability, diversity, entrepreneurship and innovation.

Fashion Futures includes talks, panel discussions, workshops, pop-up shows, and networking (okay, mingling) opportunities. The workshops range from Chalhoub Group’s class to support local talent, and Academia Costume and Moda, an Italian fashion school, a session on brand content development. Plus, renowned stylist Ozlem Cakir, who was styled top executives and politicians, will share insights on how to craft a personal brand.

Look out for special events during Fashion Futures, which are open to the public. Fashion Commission is hosting a pop-up shop at U Walk from 17 to 24 November, and YOOX Net-a-Porter cool Swap Shop concept returns from 17 to 21 November. Plus, Fashion Fabrics Expo aims to be the world’s largest dedicated sourcing showcase of textiles, and it runs from 17 to 19 November.

Princess Reema bint Bandar Al Saud, Board Member of the Fashion Commission, said: “The Fashion Futures Conference shows the incredible talent and thriving fashion scene in the kingdom. It is a testament to our Saudi talent, creativity, and collaboration. Conferences such as these are so essential because they provide the opportunity for our talent to receive well-deserved international recognition.”

Burak Çakmak, CEO of the Fashion Commission, added: “Fashion Futures is an opportunity for Saudi to bring the global fashion community together. We have placed innovation at the heart of the conference this year, with textile innovation a key theme. Creating future opportunities for all, industry experts will share their expertise and sustainability-driven solutions.”
