The festival highlight includes BMX Freestyle World Cup 2023.

Get on your bike. The Diriyah Urban Festival is riding into town, showcasing the best of breakdancing, parkour and skateboarding. Plus, it will host the BMX Freestyle World Cup 2023 for the first time in the kingdom. 

If you love biking culture, then this is for you. The festival brings the sport to thrilling life with BMX, mountain bikes, and scooters. Visitors can watch demonstrations, shows and workshops. Plus, you can be wowed by parkour performers and watch parkour competitions. 

During BMX Freestyle World Cup 2023, athletes compete in qualifying for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The following rounds include BMX Freestyle Park and Flatland in Montpellier, France from 17 to 21 May, and BMX Freestyle Park in Brussels, Belgium from 6 to 9 July.  

Diriyah Urban Festival is part of Diriyah Nights and Diriyah Season, which is one of Saudi Arabia’s major festivals. The festival runs from 10 to 18 February, and the BMX Freestyle World Cup 2023 runs from 15 to 18 February. 

Diriyah Nights gives you a rare chance to experience the historical sight in a unique way. Bringing together cafés, concerts and culture, it is currently underway and runs until 22 February. 

Located approximately 14 minutes north of Riyadh, Diriyah is famous for being the original capital of Saudi Arabia, as it was once the seat of power for the Al Saud family. During the 18th and 19th century, it was home to the founder of the first Saudi state, Mohammed bin Saud.
