The music festival takes place in AlUla’s dazzling dessert.

Saudi Arabia is turning up the volume. AZIMUTH 2024 in AlUla has announced its dates, and it will be running from 19 to 21 September. The festival brings together art, culture and music, all in the dazzling desert landscape. So, if you’re looking to party under the stars, here’s what you need to know. 

AZIMUTH and MDLBeast have come together to create the event. This year’s theme is Until The Sun Comes Up, which is apt for the festival that takes place between sunset and sunrise. The event coincides with Saudi National Day and is also a chance to celebrate the Kingdom. 

AZIMUTH 2024

AZIMUTH 2024’s line-up has not yet been announced. The event started in 2020, and also took place in 2022 and 2023. The event has attracted local as well as international talent from across the world. Previous acts include Bruno Mars, Cairokee, Dish Dash, DJ Snake, Jason Derulo, Jorja Smith, Thievery Corporation, Tinie Tempah, The Chainsmokers and The Kooks. 

AZIMUTH is part of AlUla Moments calendar, which brings together festivals across art, culture, music, wellness and equestrian. Upcoming events in AlUla include AlUla Skies Festival in September, AlUla Wellness Festival in October, and Ancient Kingdoms Festival in November.

AlUla Desert Blaze takes place on 24 August, and is a first-of-its-kind in Saudi Arabia. The event includes a 5-kilometre, 10-kilometre, half marathon and full marathon. The route passes iconic sites, from Maraya to the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Hegra.
