The festival takes place in Al Khobar and Jeddah.
If you’d like to explore the world from the comfort of Saudi Arabia, then we have some exciting news. The new festival, Passport to the World, is making its debut in Al Khobar, and brings to life different countries. Running from 9 April to 3 May, it gives you the opportunity to experience the wonders of Bangladesh, India, the Philippines and Sudan.
The Sudan Pavilion runs from April 9 to 12, the Indian Pavilion from April 16 to 19, the Philippines Pavilion from April 23 to 26, and the Bangladesh Pavilion from April 30 to May 3.
Organised by the General Entertainment Authority, Passport to the World is an immersive experience that brings to life the beauty of other countries. The festival aims to celebrate cultural diversity and create connections between different nations. So, if you’ve always wanted to visit one of these countries, this offers an alternative.

Different zones bring together different experiences, and offer family-friendly fun. Visitors can expect traditional food, dance performances, live music, interactive installations and workshops. Each pavilion showcases everything from the textiles to the architectural heritage of the country. Plus, if you’re after a unique souvenir, there are arts and crafts available at open-air markets.
Once Passport to the World has been completed in Al Khobar, it will later move to Jeddah. The full dates in Jeddah have not yet been confirmed. Entry is free, and VIP tickets start from SAR 96.
