Barasti welcomes The Wailers and reggae acts.


The sun is shining and the weather is sweet at Barasti Beach. On 7 February, the beach club is hosting Bob Marley’s Birthday Festival. Located in Dubai Marina, it takes place on the Jamaican singer’s birthday and looks back at his legacy.

Bob Marley’s Birthday Celebration at Barasti Beach features a fun-filled line-up of local as well as international acts. The live entertainment brings together a mixture of reggae rhythms and modern interpretations. The line-up includes reggae artists, DJs, and The Wailers. The group are preserving the sound and soul of Bob Marley’s music. The group includes the bassist Aston “Familyman” Barrett and the remaining members of Bob Marley and The Wailers.

Bob Marley’s Birthday Celebration at Barasti Beach aims to bring Caribbean Island vibes to the heart of Dubai. The event will also boast Caribbean-inspired food and drinks. Plus, the design and décor of the venue will draw inspiration from the singer’s vision for peace, love and harmony.

Bob Marley, real name Robert Nesta Marley, hails from Nine Mile, Jamaica. In 1963, he started his career and formed the group Teenagers. The group later became the Wailers, and they released the songs People Get Ready and One Love. His hit songs include Buffalo Soldier; Get Up, Stand Up; No Woman, No Cry; and Sun is Shining.

Tickets to Bob Marley’s Birthday Celebration at Barasti Beach are available now.  Early bird phase one tickets start from AED 120. Early bird phase two tickets start from AED 150. General admission tickets start from AED 200.
