Taking place at d3, this edition is bigger and better than before.
Get ready to immerse yourself in the ultimate shopping extravaganza, entertainment galore, and irresistible food experiences as the 12th edition of MOTB kicks off. From unique retail finds to a performance from Saint Levant, dance competitions, and hourly entertainment, here’s your guide to everything you need to know about the out-of-the-box experiences awaiting you at Dubai Design District (d3) from 3 to 12 January.
Palestinian-French sensation Saint Levant will kick start e& MOTB (Market Outside the Box) on Friday, 3 January. For those unversed, Saint Levant, originally Marwan Abdelhamid, is a Palestinian-French singer. He uses a mix of English, Arabic, and French in his music, creating a unique sound. He first caught the public eye in 2020 through viral social media videos but broke through with his hit single Very Few Friends, which shot him to global glory.
With his lyrics and strong stage presence, Saint Levant has amassed millions of fans worldwide, and his upcoming performance promises to be nothing short of spectacular. However, this is not his first gig in the UAE. He last visited Dubai in 2022 when he performed as part of the Quoz Arts Festival.
As for e& MOTB, it’s a flagship event of the Dubai Shopping Festival. This year, the theme is all about boldness and individuality, merging 1950s charm with futuristic vibes. MOTB immerses you in unique fashion finds, experiential brand activations, and the trendiest entertainment in town. Discover Instagram-worthy treasures from over a dozen local and regional brands as well. You can also elevate your streetwear style and indulge in luxury accessories.
Happening at d3, the festival will also host pop-up shops, activities to keep all ages entertained, immersive experiences and installations that will be perfect for the gram. But that’s not all. You also get to enjoy hourly live entertainment on the main stage with talented artists and skilled festival DJs. Engage in E-gaming at the dedicated zone or witness the Emarat SlamJam for basketball fans. And Saint Levant’s performance as the opening act of the festival, alongside Miami-based artist Naika, is sure to get the crowd on their feet.
Of course, no event is complete without food. So indulge your taste buds with on-trend dining experiences from homegrown culinary stars.
Entry to e& MOTB, including the concert, is absolutely free. In fact, you don’t have to pay for parking either as there’s ample space in the venue.
So gear up for a 10-day celebration and get ready to be wowed at MOTB.
