The event will feature students of Berklee Abu Dhabi.

Abu Dhabi’s calendar for the rest of the year is packed with star-studded performances. With headlining acts like the Backstreet Boys, Eminem, SZA and Take That, the capital is gearing up for a musical extravaganza. And now, it’s bringing two more artists to the stage. Get ready to welcome JP Saxe and Aziz Maraka to Berklee Abu Dhabi.

Taking place on 8 November at Berklee Abu Dhabi on Saadiyat Island, JP Saxe and Aziz Maraka are all set to hit the stage. Titled Meshwar: A Musical Journey, this concert promises to be a showcase of Berklee Abu Dhabi’s production quality along with a unique, cross-cultural performance by the artists. Expect a blend of Canadian pop with indie Arab beats this magical evening.

For those unversed, JP Saxe hails from Canada and has made waves in the music world with his R&B-infused pop. He started his musical journey at a young age, finding inspiration from his grandfather who was a classical cellist. He burst into the international scene with his hit single If the World Was Ending which earned him a Grammy nomination. Known for his emotional lyrics, JP Saxe has become a go-to for broken-hearted lovers with hits like The Few Things, I Don’t Miss You and many others.

On the other hand, Aziz Maraka comes from Jordan and has carved out a name for himself in the Arab music scene. He started his career in the early 2000s and has been known for his unique mix of rock, jazz, and Arabic music, which he has termed “razz.” His big break came in 2019 with Mafi Mennik followed by other hits such as Ya Bay, Ahla Wahda, and many others. With music that’s deeply connected to his cultural roots, he’s cemented his position in the global music landscape as well.

While JP Saxe and Aziz Maraka will be the main act, the Berklee students will be opening the show. This gives a chance to these aspiring musicians to shine.

So if you’re looking for yet another concert to attend in Abu Dhabi, Berklee Abu Dhabi is where you should be at. Tickets are now live and priced at AED 120 per person, so grab yourself a seat.
