This girl is on fire. Singing sensation Alicia Keys is celebrating females and bringing Women to Women to Jeddah. The event will take place on Friday, 8 March and is hosted by Good Intentions and MDLBEAST. Plus, she will perform at the Formula 1 STC Saudi Arabian Grand Prix 2024 on 9 March.
As International Women’s Day takes place on 8 March, Alicia will share her unique perspective in Saudi Arabia. Women to Women brings together female trailblazers, and showcases the changing culture in Saudi Arabia and around the world. The event shares perspectives from a cross-section of women who are making changes in the Kingdom.
Alicia has visited Saudi Arabia twice before, but this marks her first visit to Jeddah. She has previously performed and hosted Women to Women in AlUla. Plus, she is scheduled to perform with Pharrell Williams at Formula 1 STC Saudi Arabian Grand Prix 2024.
Alicia explains: “I am thrilled to be back on stage, this time in Jeddah, performing in a place I have never performed in before, and in a way I never have in this region. I’m also so inspired to connect in a meaningful way with the amazing women there to discuss cultural, creative and boundary-pushing narratives we are collectively and individually leading.”
Alicia hails from New York, United States. She began playing the piano at the age of seven. In 2001, she made her debut with the album Songs in A Minor, which sold over 12 million copies worldwide and earned her five Grammy Awards. Her hit songs include Girl On Fire, Fallin’, If I Ain’t Got You, No One and Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart.
