The hotel is expected to open in 2028.
Saudi Arabia is ramping up its hospitality game, and it’s not just the country’s major cities that are getting makeovers. With relaxed visa policies, the Kingdom is ensuring that even pilgrims have access to the highest level of luxury as part of the Pilgrim Experience Program. And now, it has been announced that Waldorf Astoria Al Madinah is all set to make its grand debut in the city of Madinah.
The announcement to open a Waldorf Astoria Al Madinah was made at the Future Hospitality Summit in Dubai. This upcoming property promises to offer a memorable stay for all guests, blending luxury with spiritual significance. This new property is backed by Taiba Investments, a Saudi real estate and hospitality firm. As part of their collaboration with Hilton, they’re transforming their existing Taiba Front Hotel to rebrand into Waldorf Astoria Al Madinah.
Waldorf Astoria Al Madinah will be located on one side of Masjid Al Nabawri, giving hotel guests direct access. The property will also offer views of the mosque, so expect to see the beautiful green domes and the Medina Haram Piazza Shading Umbrellas.
The hotel is expected to open in 2028 and will house over 300 units, including guest rooms and suites. Details of its decor are still under wraps but the Waldorf Astoria signature design elements will be evident throughout the property.
When it comes to dining, you’ll also be spoilt for choice with three world-renowned restaurants, including the brand’s signature Peacock Alley cafe. Other amenities will include a prayer room, a private club lounge, a fitness centre, meeting spaces and much more to cater to guests of all needs.
With Waldorf Astoria Jeddah already wowing guests and the development of Waldorf Astoria Diriyah in full swing, this iconic brand promises to deliver a luxurious stay in Madina.
