The Pic Group will open Dior Cafes around the world.
Anne-Sophie Pic is the world’s most decorated female chef. She is behind MICHELIN Starred restaurants around the world, and is now setting her sights on Saudi Arabia. The Pic Group has entered in a partnership with Dior, and it will open Dior Cafes in new locations.
In December 2024, Dior Cafes opened two cafés in Japan. The brand is expected to expand in Saudi Arabia. The President of the Pic Group, David Sinapian, explained that the Gulf and its growth are attractive for the business.
Sinapian told Arab News: “We have almost reached the potential for development of the catering business in Saudi Arabia, and I believe that the future holds great opportunities for the industry in the Kingdom. It is a no-brainer”.
Anne-Sophie hails from Valence, France. Food is part of her family – she is the daughter of the chef, Jacques Pic, and granddaughter of Andre Pic. She originally trained in management, but later returned to restaurants. She initially trained under her father, and had no formal training in cooking.
Anne-Sophie Pic has been awarded more than 10 MICHELIN Stars, putting her on the culinary map. La Dame de Pic showcases modern fine-dining French food. The restaurant can be found around the world in London, Paris, and Singapore.
The Pic Group is no stranger to the Middle East. It hosted a pop-up restaurant in AlUla. In 2024, it opened La Dame de Pic Dubai in One Za’abeel and holds a FACT dining award.
