Sublimotion is expected to open its doors soon.
When Saudi Arabia sets its sights on something, it doesn’t do things by halves. And that’s exactly why it comes as no surprise that the world’s most expensive dining experience is heading to the Kingdom. Get ready to welcome Sublimotion to Neom’s Sindalah Island very soon.
While Sublimotion’s exact location on the island is still under wraps, you can bet it’s going to be a prime spot. After all, this isn’t just any dining experience; it’s the world’s most extravagant, and it deserves nothing less than a view that’s out-of-this-world.
For the uninitiated, Sublimotion promises gastronomic theatrics at its finest. Imagine scraping a course off a mirrored surface, dining while a dish is suspended in mid-air, or wearing a VR headset before you can take a bite—that’s what this restaurant offers. Plus, the experience is highly exclusive, limited to just 12 diners at a time.
Guests can expect a memorable meal as scenes slowly unfold around them. The theatrical show includes imagery projected onto virtually every surface, from the walls to the table, with an expert team of chefs, designers, directors, technicians and musicians all contributing to this show-stopping experience.
Sublimotion is the brainchild of two creative geniuses: Paco Roncero, the acclaimed chef and owner of the MICHELIN-lauded Paco Roncero Restaurante in Madrid, and Eduardo Gonzalez, co-founder and creative director of the event management powerhouse Vega Factory. First launched in Ibiza back in 2014, the restaurant quickly gained international fame for its ability to blend haute cuisine with technology and theatrical flair.
While originally in Ibiza, Sublimotion held pop-ups in Dubai, where diners paid a cool AED 5,000 per person. So the question is: Will we see similar price tags in Saudi Arabia? Or will the Kingdom turn it up a notch and push the boundaries even further? Knowing Saudi Arabia’s flair for grandeur, anything is possible.
With its arrival in Sindalah Island, Sublimotion could very well become the star attraction of the region’s culinary scene. Neom is already shaping up to be a futuristic hub of luxury, and adding the world’s most expensive dining experience to the mix will take things to another level.
Details of when the restaurant will open doors are still under wraps but stay tuned because Sublimotion at Sindalah Island promises to be unlike anything you’ve ever seen – or tasted – before.
