The stylish new venue makes its way from Spain to Saudi Arabia.
We never imagined this: you can soon get a touch of Marbella in the deserts of Saudi Arabia. The Spanish restaurant, Mamzel, has announced that it is making its way to the hidden canyons of AlUla. Set to open as a pop-up from 22 December, it will combine dinner with a show in a stunning outdoors setting.
Located near Shaden Resort, Mamzel in AlUla has created a memorable dining experience. In true AlUla-style, guests will be able to dine under the stars with the soaring landscape for company.
Mamzel in AlUla’s menu sounds like a crowd pleaser, as it serves international cuisine with dips; hot and cold starters; raw, fish, meat and pasta dishes; and desserts. The starters include hummus zaatar, mamzel salad, Peurvian ceviche. The mains include seabass saigon, lamb shoulder and linguini tartufata. Plus, there are cool mocktails ranging from an old fashioned to espresso martini.
Mamzel started life in Marbella, Spain, as a restaurant meets club experience. This the first time that the restaurant is making its way to the desert landscapes of AlUla. Expect top notch entertainment, as the brand is bringing its renowned acts from Spain to Saudi.
There are plenty of reasons to visit AlUla, especially as it recently announced the line-up for AlUla Moments 2023. The artistic highlight includes FAME: Andy Warhol in AlUla , which opens from 17 February 2023. This is a rare chance to see some of Warhol’s most famous silkscreens in the kingdom, from Elizabeth Taylor to Muhammad Ali.
Lookout for the return of Winter at Tantora, Azimuth, Richard Mille AlUla Desert Polo, Saudi Tour 2023 and AlUla Endurance Cup 2023. Plus, new events include AlUla Catwalk and Extreme Adventure AlUla.
Mamzel in AlUla is open daily from 7pm to midnight.
