Let the good times roll…
Saudi, there’s an exciting event rolling into the Kingdom. AlUla on Wheels runs until 21 February, and is a fun-filled experience for the family. Taking place in Al Jadidah district, here’s how to step back in time for some feel-good nostalgia.
AlUla on Wheels takes place in an open-air skating space, which boasts dramatic views of the desert landscape. Look out for themed nights and local as well as international DJs. The area will be transformed with old-school arcade games and live performances. Plus, after all that rolling you will work up an appetite, so you’ll be pleased to hear that food and drink stalls are available on site.
If previous AlUla on Wheels events are anything to go by, visitors are in for a terrific treat. Previous performers include the singing superstar Alicia Keys, and producer and rapper Swiss Beatz. So far, the special nights include Shancoty on 26 and 27 December, DJ Breeze on 2 and 3 January, RAG on 16 and 17 January, Krazy Lee on 30 and 31 January, and Igniter on 6 and 7 January. Plus, on New Year’s Eve, DJ Leen, will be taking you into the new year.
