Tickets are available now for the Eid Al Fitr show.
Welcome to Miami in AlUla. The award-winning Miami Band is bringing Feykom Tarab: The Miami Show to Saudi Arabia’s desert. Taking place on 12 April, the theatrical show brings together 100 performers and looks set to be a superb spectacle.
This marks the first time that the Miami Band is coming to AlUla. In 1991, the band formed in Kuwait with Khaled Abdul Jalil Al-Randi, Laila Muhammad, Mishaal Saleh Laili and Tariq Qassem Muhammad. The line-up has changed over the years, as members left and joined.
After Tarek saw the word “Miami” written on a whiteboard, inspiration struck and the group got its name. Drawing on Arabic musical influences, Miami Band is known for its energetic sets. In 1991, the group released its first album, Sabuha, which was produced by the Saudi Arts Company. The group’s albums also include Ghazala, Miami Forever, Problems and They Lived.
Feykom Tarab: The Miami Show brings together music with state-of-the-art visual effects. The show will be a celebration of the group’s success over the years. Plus, the show is expected to fall during the Eid Al Fitr weekend.
The show takes place in AlUla’s iconic Maraya. The world’s largest mirrored building is covered in 9,740 square metres of mirrors, and shimmers away in the desert. The venue has welcomed a range of stars from local to international talent. Previous acts include Alicia Keys, James Blunt, John Legend, Lauryn Hill, Lionel Ritchie and Westlife.
Tickets are now on sale for Feykom Tarab: The Miami Show, and start from SAR 330.
