Jumeirah Group have launched its first hotel in Oman.

Jumeirah Group, the hospitality company behind some of Dubai’s most luxurious hotels, has opened its first property in Oman. The new hotel, Jumeirah Muscat Bay, has got us excited, as it is the perfect spot for adventure and relaxation.

Jumeirah Muscat Bay is situated within the secluded cove of Bandar Jissah between the Hajar Mountains and the Gulf of Oman, and is only 15 minutes from the capital Muscat. The resort boasts modern as well as Arabesque design features, and lets Oman’s natural beauty do all of the talking. So, whether you want to spend a quiet day on the beach or explore the great outdoors, it’s a great hotel base in Oman.

Jumeirah Muscat Bay includes 206 spacious rooms and suites, all of which have impressive views of the ocean. Connecting rooms are available, and there are five secluded summerhouses with two and four bedrooms. If you are travelling with family or friends, check into the Sanctuary Villa – it includes a private pool, butler service and access to an exclusive private beach.

The new resort’s restaurants are overseen by the culinary director Claudio Dieli – he has previously been at venues with MICHELIN Stars and brings with him 26 years of experience. There are five dining venues: Peridot serves international food and includes live cooking stations, healthy favourites and afternoon tea; Zuka is a chilled poolside lounge; Anzo bar covers cocktails, cigars and Asian-style bites; and Brezza will open in September with seafood and sea views.

Guests can also enjoy Talise Spa, the fitness centre, yoga studio, tennis court and kids’ club. The water sports are just as impressive, as they cover scuba diving, sailing and – since you’re in Oman – snorkelling with turtles.

Mr. José Silva, chief executive officer of Jumeirah Group, said: “Oman is a popular destination for those looking to combine nature and wellness with cultural interest. At Jumeirah Muscat Bay, we have focused on taking cues from the natural landscape and its restorative energy and have brought this to life through design and architecture. In keeping with the hallmarks of Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts, our innovative dining concepts, signature service and exceptional experiences are well represented throughout this resort.”

If you’re looking for your next Eid Al Adha staycation idea, put this new hotel in Oman on your radar. Plus, if you make a booking before 30 September 2022, you can save up to 20 per cent on stays that are at least four nights. Sun, sea, sand and savings – sounds good to us.
